Born November 8 1863, he was probably the most celebrated of all Hensons was Herbert Hensley Henson, one of eight children of Thomas Henson. Biographical information exists in a Wikipaedia article and biography on the Oxford Web Site.
His professional autobiography, which is out of print but widely available, contains some valuable information on the family history. The material available in the above cited Oxford site complements the autobiography, and gives some general insight into the Thomas Henson household. A professional biography is now available on Amazon. His letters have also been published. In addition some correspondence between him and his nephew Harold Gordon Henson is available on this site. However, the correspondence is purely philosophical in nature and does not give insights into family history. His importance during his time is evidenced by the large number of obituaries, following his death September 28, 1947.
